Breast milk is the best nutrition for a baby's health. The WHO and the UNICEF recommended an initial commitment for exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of life, and continue breastfeeding until the age of 24 months, as an important strategy for reducing infant stunting, disease and mortality in developing country. One of the purposes of the ASI Production Stimulation Support Group (KPSTIPASI) activities was to increase the understanding, awareness and skills of pregnant women in Karangroto Village to prepare for the process of maintenance and exclusive breastfeeding. The implementation method consisted of socialization, competency improvement, skills training, monitoring, and evaluation. The results showed the formation of a health care discussion forum with activities focused on pregnant women to prepare the breast-milk-feeding under the auspices of the Puskesmas Kumawula : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat 2019 42 Bangetayu. This supported the ability and skills of health care in stimulating milk production from 25% to 87% and increasing the effectiveness of prenatal breastfeeding from 35% to 85%. The KP-STIPASI based community support was the right strategy to empower the community in increasing the readiness and trust of pregnant women for exclusive (prenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy). The next community support activities are expected to be able to develop community support based KP-STIPASI in all regions of Karangroto Sub-District. The activity will not only focus on pregnant women, but also for mothers with children under two years of age and breastfeeding mothers.
