EL ARTE COMO HERRAMIENTA DE EMPODERAMIENTO DE LAS MUJERES DE ETNIA GITANA

espanolLa intervencion socioeducativa permite situar, conocer y actuar sobre los distintos contextos humanos, con el fin de favorecer la inclusion de los colectivos que conforman la sociedad. En base a este pretexto, a continuacion se presentan las bases de un estudio realizado durante el curso academico 2016-2017, en colaboracion con el Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Universidad de Valladolid, sobre el papel del arte como herramienta de empoderamiento de las mujeres gitanas, llevado a cabo a traves de una fase teorica y la puesta en escena de una fase practica con un grupo de mujeres gitanas de la ciudad de Palencia. Dicho proyecto plantea, en definitiva, la necesidad de utilizar el arte como herramienta de liberacion ante la presion social a la que estan sometidas aun hoy en dia las mujeres, ademas de un medio de reconocimiento, aceptacion y empoderamiento a los ojos de la sociedad, de tal manera que cada mujer tenga la posibilidad de reconocer la genealogia femenina en el ambito de su cultura y la creacion, asi como de expresar sus deseos, pensamientos e ideas hacia un camino que las guie hacia la plena igualdad social. EnglishThe socio-educational intervention allows for locating, knowing and acting on the different human contexts, in order to favor the inclusion of the groups that define society. Based on this idea, the following are the bases of a study accomplished during the 2016-2017 academic year, in collaboration with the Department of Art History of the University of Valladolid, on the role of art as a tool for empowerment of gypsy women, carried out through a theoretical phase and the staging of a practical phase with a group of gypsy women from Palencia. This project raises, in short, the need to use art as a tool of liberation in the face of the social pressure to which women are still subjected today, as well as a means of recognition, acceptance and empowerment in the eyes of society, in such a way that each woman has the possibility of recognizing the female genealogy within the scope of her culture and creation, as well as of expressing her desires, thoughts and ideas towards a path that leads them into full social equality.
