The present study analyses the relationship between urban constructions in Zaragoza and rainwater in the fifteenth century, as an example of the handicaps that a late medieval urban society can be exposed to in regard to natural elements. Focusing on the inside of the buildings, the article examines all documentary sources in the City Council Archive and others like the Notarial Archive, which, in particular, provides a general overview of the phenomenon and all of its legal, economic and social implications.
