XYZ Ltd. (PT. XYZ) is an Information Technology company that provides seven business units : IT Branch, Merchant, Managed Field Operation; Services; Application, and Contact Center Services. However, this study merely focused on the IT Branch Service, which possessed drawback in terms of applications performance. Moreover, this research aims to analyze and propose a way to improve the company’s current performance, by suggesting a number of application portfolios. This qualitative research made use of Ward and Peppard method, which applied Value Chain (company’s internal activity) and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Thread) analysis. In addition, this study data was obtained from the company’s employee’s interview. The study result showed that the company needs to improve its performance by utilizing application portfolio in strategic, high potential, key operational, and support aspects. In addition, based on the analysis, the company needs to apply several features such as helpdesk dashboard, promotion, social media management, knowledge management system, etc.
