— We determine the dimension of the varieties of trigonal curves of genus five with a Weierstrass point of given type and we show that generically such a curve has only one non-normal Weierstrass point. We prove also that the monodromy of Weierstrass points on trigonal curves of genus five is the full symmetric group.
