Западное Прикаспие и Черные земли издавна считаются лучшим регионом в стране для ведения отгонного животноводства. Поэтому изучение этой территории (даже с учетом ее аридизации) имеет большое значение для разработки инновационных подходов к возрождению этих степей и включению этой территории в интенсивный кормовой оборот. Развитие овцеводства и мясного скотоводства в Республике Калмыкия настоятельно требует разработки и проведения специальных мероприятий по охране Черных земель и Кизлярских пастбищ с целью улучшения их состояния. Это позволит не только улучшить их качественный состав, но и приостановить процесс опустынивания этой территории, с одной стороны, а с другой стороны, даст возможность местным хозяйствам значительно увеличить поголовье скота, что в конечном итоге обеспечит повышение общего уровня развития сельскохозяйственного производства Республики Калмыкия. Некоторые предложения по улучшению использования Черных земель и Кизлярских пастбищ предложены авторами данной работы. Western Caspian and Black Land has long been considered the best region in the country for livestock farming. Therefore, the study of this area is of great importance for the development of innovative approaches to the revival of the steppes and the inclusion of the area in intensive fodder turnover. The development of sheep and beef cattle in the Republic of Kalmykia urgently requires the development and implementation of special measures for the protection of the Black Lands and Kizlyar pastures in order to improve their condition. This will not only improve the quality of their content, but also to stop the process of desertification of the territory, on the one hand, on the other hand, it will allow to local farmers significantly increase the number of cattle, which ultimately will improve the overall level of development of agricultural production of the Republic of Kalmykia. Some suggestions of improving the use of land and the Black Kizlyar pastures are offered by the authors of this work.
