In this paper proposed a model that takes into account the discretization of the Fermi wave vector and energy levels (bound states), as well as the condition of electroneutrality when investigating the influence of metal thickness on the spectrum of SPPs waves in heterogeneous (dielectric-metaldielectric) structures. The results of mathematical modeling show that for atomically thin metal films the influence is significant and has some specific properties.
