The article presents the results of buildinga model of economic evaluation of intellectual capital (IC) ofmachine-building enterprises suitable for the IC current level,its individual components and their potential. A typology offactors influencing the choice of IC evaluation methods inthe industry has been developed. Factors of internal andexternal environment are described to consider whenchoosing a basic evaluation method of IC in machinebuildingenterprises, the direction and the impact of thesefactors in the current economic conditions in Ukraine beingdetermined.The basic matrix selection method of evaluationof IC of machine-building enterprise, grounded priorities anda combination of different evaluation methods by definingtheir weighted grades are constructed. The graphical modelof economic evaluation of machine-building enterprises ICand its development potential is designed. According to thismodel, indicators of the level of development of IC and itscomponents in their cost measurement are calculated.
