The creation of Cu ions chelate complex with 1-(5-benzylthiazol-2-yl)azonaphthalen-2-ol has been investigated using spectrophotometric methods. The optimal conditions for the complexation reaction and for extraction into the organic phase were found. The extraction-photometric method of copper microquantities determination was developed.
