Bimetallic macroinitiators have been obtained via styrene triple copolymerization with cobalt(II) and manganese(II) vinyl-β-diketonates. The copolymerization kinetic parameters have been studied. Metal chelates were found to be as comonomers, initiators and inhibitors at the same time during copolymerization process. The macro- initiators synthesis optimal conditions have been examined. They may be used for the production of grafted polymers.
