Resumo Nesse estudo, construimos um modelo teorico de Matematica para o Ensino do Conceito de Funcao a partir de uma perspectiva discursiva. Utilizamos como fonte de dados para construcao do modelo duas colecoes de livros didaticos.  O modelo esta estruturado em categorias de realizacoes (panoramas) do conceito de funcao, que foram sistematizados empregando como parâmetro a convergencia das regras de reconhecimento e realizacao. Os panoramas que compoem o modelo sao: tabular, diagrama, algebrico, grafico, generalizacao de padroes e formal. O modelo construido explicita as formas de reconhecer, selecionar e produzir textos legitimos dentro de cada panorama, designando suas potencialidades e limitacoes comunicativas, podendo, desse modo, servir como quadro analitico para pesquisas sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem de funcao. Abstract In this study, we build a theoretical model of mathematics for teaching of the concept of function from a discursive perspective. Two collections of textbooks were used as data source. The theoretical model is structured around the realizations of the concept of function identified in such textbooks categorized in which we call landscapes. By identifying recognition and realization rules, we were able to structure the landscapes. The following were found: tabular, diagram, algebraic, graphical, generalization of patterns and formal. The model explains how to recognize, select and produce legitimate texts within each landscape, as well as describing their communicative affordances and limitations. The result is expected to be used as framework for researches about teaching and learning function.
