Este ensaio tem como objetivo discutir o vinculo entre educacao e tecnologias, fornecendo elementos para a critica da educacao digital, a partir da interlocucao com o pensamento de Neil Selwyn. Como resultado, tem-se que o cerne do referido debate se encontra eivado por vicios explicativos e interpretativos que, no geral, derivam do determinismo tecnologico.
