Two species of weevils from subgenus Choilisanus Reitter, 1912 are described from Turkey as new to science. Otiorhynchus valerii Davidian et Savitsky, sp. n. from the south-western Turkey closely related to O. grandicollis Boheman, 1843, from which differs in straight fore tibiae with slightly dilated external apical angle. Otiorhynchus lazorum Davidian et Savitsky, sp. n. from north-east of Turkey closely related to O. megareoides Smreczyński, 1977, from which differs in presence of clear punctation on the temples. Подрод Choilisanus Reitter, 1912 является одним из наиболее богатых в палеарктическом роде Otiorhynchus Germar, 1822. В его составе насчитывается свыше 40 видов и подвидов, более половины из которых встречаются в Турции [Magnano, Alonso-Zarazaga, 2013]. К числу наиболее характерных местообитаний видов подрода Choilisanus относятся степные, горностепные и древесно-кустарниковые сообщества в условиях более или менее аридизированного климата [Давидьян, Кескин, 2010]. В результате обработки новых материалов с территории Турции, в указанном подроде выявлено 2 новых для науки вида, описание которых приводится ниже.
