共 同研究会の線材分科会,中 小形分科会は,発 足以来 25年 を経過 し,開催 回数 は50回 を こえ るに至つた。そ の間,設 備,生 産量,操 業 をと りま く環境 には幾多 の変 化があつたが,圧 延 歩留 りの向上は研究会 メ ンバ ーの最 大の関心 テーマ として不 断の努 力がは らわれ,常 に向上 の途を歩みつづけて きた. しか しなが ら,石 油危機 以降省 エネルギ とな らび, 歩 留 り向上は 最重点課題 として 一段 と クローズアップ ざ れ,各 社は総力を結集 し一 層の改善対策を講 じてい る. 共同研究会において もこれ までに,線 材分科会 で2回, 中小形分科会で5回 歩留 り向上が研究 テーマとして と り あげ られ,自 由研究テーマと して も多 くの研究事例が報 告 されている. ここでは,線 材分 科会 お よび 中小形分科会参加各社 の 最近5ヶ 年間の活動報告 に もとづ き,線 材 ・棒鋼 の歩留 り向上 の現状 お よび改善 事例を紹介 し,あ わせて今後 の 展望 について述べる.
