おごの りを適 当な条件 でCa++を 含む弱 アル カ リ溶液で処理 す るときは,お ごの りに含 まれ る非可逆膠 質がいわゆる寒天化 される ことは既 に発表 した。*更 にこの寒天化 した おごの り原藻 を使 用 し,普通 の方法 に よつて心太 を製 造 し,こ れ よ り冷凍法或い は乾燥法等 に よつ て極 めて純良 な寒天 を製造 し得 ろ ことを も明 ら かにし,進 んでこの 方法 を工 業的 に実施す る場AG7を考慮 し,原 藻 よ り純寒天製造 に至るま でに随伴す る諸現 象 に関 し詳細 な学術 的研究 を行つ た。 その結果,こ の 方法 によつておごの りよ り寒天 を工業的に製造 し得 る 充分 な見通 しを得た ので,こ の方法 の根本 をなすお ごの りの非可逆 的膠質 の寒天化 に関 し工業試験 を行い, 磯 室 にて得 られた と同様 な始結果 を得た。 この軸 では上述 の中間試験 の概要 を明らか にす る。
