Transmission electron microscopy observation of cross-sectional specimens prepared by focused ion beam milling method have beenappliedtostudythedeepradiationdamageanddepthproleofpointdefectsgeneratedduringionirradiationinCu–1mass%Coalloyspecimensbymeansofcoherentprecipitates.Thespecimenswereirradiatedatatemperaturerangeof250to500 Cby4and0.6MeVselfCuionstoadoseof 0.3dpa.
