Long componentlife of at least two years under a daily start and stop condition is required on turbine blades and vanes in landbased power plants. For this reason, a creep rupture life of 10000 hours or longer is required for the application of Nibase superalloys. In this paper, longterm creep property of more than 15000 hours was analyzed for a secondgeneration Nibase superalloy, TMS82+. Consequently, LarsonMiller parameters in the range of C=1214 resulted in good fits over the shortto longterm creep rupture life, even though C=20 is conventionally used for Nibase superalloys. In addition, the creep strength of TMS82+ exceeds that of CMSX4 under wide range of stress/temperature conditions, especially under the higher temperature and lower stress condition.
