O estudo parte do pressuposto de que, por nao serem seres iguais, os alunos possuem habilidades diferentes, provem de contextos diversos e nem sempre a alfabetizacao destes ocorre nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Em funcao disso, vimos discutindo e problematizando a importância da articulacao entre a pratica docente, o curriculo, o apoio dos especialistas da escola e a formacao continuada para que outros caminhos possiveis sejam encontrados no processo de alfabetizacao daqueles que ainda nao o consolidaram no periodo esperado socialmente. Utilizando como suporte metodologico uma pesquisa pedagogica, na qual a sala de aula e vista como objeto de investigacao, ao apresentarmos algumas praticas realizadas no 4o ano de uma escola regular montessoriana, com o intuito de alcancar a leitura e a escrita proficientes, pretendemos expandir a discussao sobre alfabetizacao e inclusao, considerando os contributos de Scliar (2010; 2013; 2015) e Montessori (1965). Palavras-chave: Metodo Montessori; alfabetizacao; formacao docente; pratica pedagogica; inclusao.     Literacy in the fourth year of Fundamental Education: an inclusive challenge   Abstract: The study assumes that because they are not equal, students have different abilities, come from different contexts and not always their literacy occurs in the early years of Elementary School. Because of this, we have been discussing and problematizing the importance of the articulation between teaching practice, the curriculum, the support of the specialists of the school and the continued formation so that other possible paths are found in the process of literacy of those who have not yet consolidated it in the expected period socially. Using as a methodological support a pedagogical research, in which the classroom is seen as an object of investigation, when presenting some practices carried out in the 4th year of a regular Montessori school, with the intention of achieving proficient reading and writing, we intend to expand the discussion on literacy and inclusion, considering the contributions of Scliar (2010, 2013, 2015) and Montessori (1965). Keywords: Montessori Method; literacy; teacher training; pedagogical practice; inclusion.      Alfabetizar en el 4o ano de la Educacion Fundamental: un desafio inclusivo   Resumen: El estudio parte del presupuesto que, por no ser personas iguales, los alumnos poseen habilidades diferentes, provienen de contextos diversos y ni siempre su alfabetizacion ocurre en los anos iniciales de la Educacion Fundamental. En funcion de ello, discutimos y problematizamos la importancia de la articulacion entre la practica docente, el curriculo, el apoyo de especialistas de la escuela y la formacion continuada para encontrar otros caminos posibles en el proceso de alfabetizacion de quienes todavia no lo consolidaron en el periodo esperado socialmente.
