The performance parameters as well as the lifetime of a solar cell can be inferred from the current-voltage curve (IV curve). Unlikely their inorganic counterpart (silicon based), the organic polymeric solar cells face stabilities issues. Basic procedures to perform the IV curve were described by Reese et al. (2011) and all the data acquired are supposed to help in proposing specific standards for this new type of photovoltaic devices. This paper presents an accessible platform to plot the IV curve for photovoltaic devices. The platform used for the prototype is ARDUINO UNO. The acquired data were compared with data acquired with a SMU model KEITHLEY 2400. For an irradiance level AM 1.5; 1000 W/m2 (1 SUN) the error range was less than 3 %.
