The disposal of industrial effluents to nature without proper treatment can cause environmental pollution and damage to fauna and flora due to its toxic, carcinogenic and recalcitrant character. In this way, work as the use of natural adsorbents from alginate and chitosan biopolymers and doping them with metals, nickel and iron, and evaluate the equilibrium and batch adsorption kinetics of indigo carmine dye. As microspheres synthesized were characterized by granulometric analysis and kinetics of swelling. The experimental data obtained in the equilibrium tests were adjusted according to the Langmuir and Freundlich models, and the kinetics of adsorption according to Lagergren of pseudo first and second order. The results obtained in the adsorption tests followed the same order of swelling kinetics. The removal order for AlQt /Fe > AlQt/Ni > AlQt.
