This paper proposes an analysis of the speeches of parliamentarians of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil in relation to the theme of gender and sexuality in public education policies in the country, from 2014 to 2018. From the critical feminist analysis of the discourse, the argument seeks to demonstrate the semiotic aspect in the parliamentarians' pronouncements when dealing with this theme. The results show that positions contrary to the theme build an ideological discursive structure with the expression "we against the minority" to destabilize the correlations of strength around of gender and sexuality issues in public policies. Finally, this approach intends to add to the set of other works that have placed themselves in the wake of academic resistance against the extreme right in Brazil.
