This paper aimed to identify the impacts of tour gu ide performanceaffecting the Word-of-Mouth (WOM) recommendation of Chinese touri sts in Vietnam. The sample in this research comprised 449 tourists in Danang city who were currently on or had previously been on a group package tour within the past few months. The results showed that the performance of tour guide plays an importa nt role in the satisfaction and WOM of Chinese tourists. The study determined factors o f tour guide performance such as appearance, empathy, work attitude, communication s kill, organizational skill, problemsolving skill, professional competence. Moreover, t his study also provides many suggestions for local tour guides and tour managers .
