Neste trabalho procuro fazer uma reflexao sobre a situacao surgida a partir de minha “entrada repentina no campo”, onde uma das minhas mais importantes interlocutoras, “Rosa Azul”, bastante presente nos textos de minha dissertacao de mestrado e artigos que escrevi, tendo contraido uma doenca rara no pulmao, estava desenganada pelos medicos, que deram a previsao de quarenta e oito horas para que ela viesse a falecer. O falecimento dessa eximia curadora que se tornou bastante conhecida na metropole da Amazonia, seja pela sua habilidade como xama, ou pelos seus singulares “rituais e curas neo-xamânicas”, como e vista na cidade de Belem, trouxe a tona para minha pesquisa varias questoes que ate entao estavam “adormecidas” ou “domesticadas”, referentes ao meu trabalho de campo, sobre questoes epistemologicas levantadas por Geertz em relacao a natureza do entendimento antropologico, que envolve, entre outras coisas, a relacao entre “pesquisador e pesquisado”, o “estar la” e o “estar aqui”, enfim, a propria construcao etnografica. Resuming epistemological a matter and not moral: t he real life imponderables Abstract In this work I try to reflect on the situation arising from my "sudden entry in the field", where one of my most important interlocutors, "Blue Rose", very present in the texts of my dissertation and articles I have written, having contracted a rare disease in the lung, was given up by the doctors, who gave the forecast forty-eight hours so that she might die. The death of that excels curator who became well known in the Amazon metropolis, is for its ability as a shaman, or its unique "neo-shamanic rituals and healing", as seen in Bethlehem, brought up to my research several issues that previously were "asleep" or "domesticated", related to my field work on epistemological questions raised by Geertz on the nature of anthropological understanding, which involves, among other things, the relationship between "researcher and researched" the "being there" and "be here", in short, the very ethnographic construction.
