A summary of the Compton scattering program at the High Intensity Gamma Ray Source (HIGS) is presented. Preliminary results of Compton scattering cross-section measurements on 4He, 2H, and 1H are presented. The determination of nucleon scalar electromagnetic polarizabilities from data form Compton scattering data on few-nucleon systems is described. Also, plans for performing Compton scattering measurements on 3He with high energy resolution are discussed.
