We review the scenario of baryogenesis through lep-togenesis induced by the out-of-equilibrium decays of heavy neu-trinos. We pay special attention to the resonant phenomenonof CP violation through mixing of two nearly degenerate heavyMajorananeutrinosand showhow unitarityand CPT invarianceis maintained within the resummation approach. An importantconsequence of this is that the leptogenesis scale may be as lowas 1 TeV, even for models with universal Yukawa couplings.We briey discuss the impact of nite temperature eects andlow-energy constraints to the afore-mentioned mechanism of CPviolation.1.
