Cooling tower is very essential part of industries to cool water used for different purposes. Heat and mass transfer analysis of a downward parallel flow of air and water droplet interaction has been carried out to solve simultaneous governing differential equations to predict the exit conditions of air and water droplets. It has been observed that there is a substantial reduction of water temperature along shower cooling tower (SCT) height without fills. Based on this study the height of SCT can be reduced and thus saving in cost of the tower. Exergy analysis has also been carried out to find out variation of water and total exergy of air flowing through the SCT. It has been found that total exergy destruction maximum at beginning of air and water interaction and decrease along the tower height.
