超電 導導 体の銅 比 は, 超電 導線 の臨界 電流 密度 な ど の特性 を調 べ る うえで必要 なパ ラ メー タで あ る. すな わ ち, 対象 とす る超電 導線 の適合 性 を判 断す る情報 と な り, 規格 化す る こ とに よって 品質管理, 受入試 験や 研 究 目的 の試 験 に適用 で きる. 銅 安 定 化 ニ オ ブ ・チ タ ン複 合 超 電 導 導 体 (以下, Cu/Nb-Ti複 合 超 電導 導 体) の銅 比 測 定法 の標 準 化 に つい ては, 金属 系超電 導材料 試験 ・評価 分科 会 におい て試 験 方 法 が作 成 され, ラ ウ ン ド ・ロ ビ ン ・テ ス ト (RRT) を行 った後 に, 1996年 の北京 で のTC90国 際 会 議 で1st WDが 作成 され, 1997年 の ポー トラン ド WG会 議 で最 終WDが 提 出 された. そ の後, 2000年 のボル ダー会 議 でFDIS化 が決定 され, 2000年12月 に国 際規格 (IS) と して制 定 され た. さ らに, JIS化 が引 き続 い て行 われた. ここで は, 本規 格 につい てそ の内容 を中心 に述べ る.
