This study aims to determine the effect of learning models and critical thinking skills on writing text review skills. This research was carried out on Cilacap City Middle School students. This research uses a 2x2 factorial design. The data analysis technique uses a 2-way analysis of variance. The results showed that: (1) The results of writing text reviews students who were taught using the Problem Posing Learning modelwere better than students who were taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model. (2) The results of writing text review students who have high critical thinking skills are better than students who have low critical thinking skills. (3) There is no interaction between the learning model and the ability to think critically about the ability to write review texts.
