2-dimensional numerical simulations with offing-seashore axis and vertical axis using thelevel set method are carried out in order to predict awave-breaking performance of off shore wave breaker with slits. Computational accuracy is investigated incomparison with computational results and small-scale experimental results. These comparisons include three types of offshore wave breakers, a single wall withslits, a double wall with slits and a triple wall with slits and a slanting plate on top of the wall. Although numerical results contain natural damping in wave-height during its propagation, wave transmission coefficient of computational results through the offshore structure qualitatively agree with that of experimental results with correction for the natural damping.
