We developed ESTF (Embeds a Structure on Topographical Feature) model in order to perform advanced and practical inundated tsunami computation based on the long wave approximated model for urban area. Numerical experiment was carried out to verify the applicability of the model. The result shows that the optimum combination of topographical feature and equivalent roughness explains the effect of structures most appropriately. In addition, ESTF model was applied in Kochi city with the high resolution topographic data special grid (5.6 m), considering the actual land use including rivers, buildings and houses. Inundation process can be more clarified by ESTF model considering the actual land use on the urban area. And it is possible to draw high resolution tsunami hazard and risk map by using ESTF model.
