　路面乗り心地に関する利用者評価の多くは主観的なアンケートにより収集されるが個人の振動感受性差による定量化の困難さや客観性の低さが問題となる本研究ではドライビングシミュレータ(DS)および心拍変動を用いた乗り心地評価システムを構築し仮想道路環境下での利用者意識に基づく路面モニタリングについて検証したその結果異なる路面平坦性水準間で車両振動がメンタルストレスに影響を与える場合心拍変動の変化率は一定の傾向を示し試行回数の増加にともない振動に順応することが示唆されたこれらの結果について実道およびDSにおける仮想環境化において同一条件での試験結果を比較したところ同様の傾向が得られたことから路面モニタリングにおけるDSを用いた評価システムの有効性が確認できた Pavement ride quality testing is difficult to quantify the evaluation results based on the questionnaire due to the lack of objectivity. This study develops a ride quality rating system using a driving simulator and physiological information such as heart rate variability (HRV) that contributes to quantitative and high accuracy pavement surface monitoring. As a result, oscillations of HRV indicate a constant tendency toward different roughness conditions in case that experimental participants suffer mental stress caused by the vehicle vibration. On the other hand, some participants adjust to the vehicle vibration according to the increase of the number of trials. Because these results are observed on the driving simulator experiment as well as the in situ survey, the developed system is valid in pavement surface monitoring based on the ride quality rating of road users
