LDH・Hサブユニット欠乏第3例目と考えられる症例を経験し, その解析結果について報告した. 血清LDH活性の異常な低値を示した発端者のLDHアイソザイムは血清, 白血球, 唾液でM4のみ, 赤血球, 血小板ではM4のほかにHM3が認められた. 赤血球内酵素の測定では多くの酵素が低値を示していたが, とくにLDHの活性低下が顕著であった. 赤血球解糖中間体の測定ではFDP, DHAP, GA3Pの蓄積が認められた.発端者の家族の3名は血清, 赤血球のLDH活性が低めであり, H/M比が低値を示した.発端者はLDH・Hサブユニット欠乏のホモ体, その家族3名はヘテロ体と考えられた.
