Obesity is a major risk factor for colorectal cancer. The MC38 mouse colon-cancer cell line is a versatile syngeneic model of colon cancer in C57BL/6 mice. In the present study, the influence of a high-fat diet (HFD) on the growth of the MC38 mouse colon-cancer cell line was examined in an orthotopic-transplantation syngeneic model in C57BL/6 mice.
