Patient: A 49-year-old male patient visited with the complaint of masticatory disturbance caused by denture mobility, and esthetic dissatisfaction with clasp-retained removable partial dentures. Temporary crowns and treatment dentures were used to reconstruct the occlusal relationship. After prior prosthetic treatment of periodontal and endodontic management, conical-retained removable partial dentures were fabricated on the upper and lower jaws. Discussion: The effect of secondary fixation by definitive prosthetic appliance stabilized periodontal tissues around severe periodontal teeth, and secured a successful clinical outcome. Conclusion: The rehabilitation using conical-retained removable partial dentures while considering the mechanical load for the partially edentate patient showing masticatory disturbance and esthetic dissatisfaction improved the patient’s oral-health-related quality of life, and secured sufficient patient satisfaction.
