組織的に情報を共有化し院内感染対策を検証することは現状の対策の妥当性を評価し問題点を解決していくプロセスには有用であると考える。そのため愛知県厚生連薬剤師会は院内感染対策の専門部会を2002年に発足した。そして2002年から2003年にかけて各病院の院内感染対策や消毒薬抗菌薬の適正使用に関する状況調査を実施した。そこで得られた情報を基に各病院の課題を再認識し年度における行動目標を掲げ実践した。その結果各病院が目標課題に対して一つ以上を達成するとともに今後の継続課題も浮かび上がった。このことは愛知県厚生連という組織を有効活用し薬剤師会として活動することで得られた結果であると考える。
