The purpose of this study is to investigate the trends in the development of a personality education program centering on the practice of childhood personality education. In order to analyze the trends and contents of the study of the personality education of young children, this study selected the prior studies conducted in Japan for analysis. 142 papers and 198 academic papers were selected for analysis without setting limits for the study period. The selected papers were categorized according to the research period, research content, and research subjects, and frequency and percentage were calculated for analysis of the data.
