Stabilizer bar is an important component of the vehicle's independent suspension system and plays an important role in the safety traffic. So the research on fatigue strength characteristics of the automobile stabilizer bar is very necessary. In this paper, the finite element model was established for the automobile stabilizer bar by utilizing ANSYS finite element analysis software. Then the automobile stabilizer bar's strength and stiffness were analyzed with the finite element method. It is checked that the stabilizer bar meet the static strength requirements. At last, the fatigue simulation analysis has been done. The simulation results show that the fatigue life of the stabilizer bar is about 673400 times, and it meets the fatigue life requirements which must be at least 5 times in the fatigue test of the stabilizer bar.
