症例は27歳,男性,周期的な発熱とリンパ節腫大があり,前医で壊死性リンパ節炎と診断された.しかし,発熱が持続し,皮疹が出現したため紹介入院となった.免疫血清学的検査ではhuman herpesvirus-7 (HHV-7)の感染を認め,また皮疹はSweet症候群に合致する組織像であった,自然経過でこれらの症状は改善し, HHV-7抗体価も漸減した.本症例の病像にはHHV-7の関与が示唆された.
