甘草メタノール抽出エキス製薬物(FM-100)により,偽性アルドステロン症をきたした3症例を経験したので報告する.症例は66才の男性と, 40才と57才の女性,いずれも慢牲胃炎の診断で本薬物を服用中,高血圧症,四肢脱力,低力リウム血症などの鉱質コルチコイド過剰に伴う症状を呈し,中止することにより消失した. FM-100に含まれるグリチルリチン量は少なく,これらの症例に投与されていた量に相当するグリチルリチンで偽性アルドステロン症をきたした報告はほとんどない. FM-100に含まれるグリチルりチン以外の成分が本症例の発症に関与している可能性が示唆され,グリチルリチン製薬物に対する再検討を要するものと考え,文献的検索を加えて考察した.
