The current study aims at recognizing the effectiveness of a training Programme based on Floor Time Strategy in the development of social communication skills among autistic children. The study sample consisted of 20 male autistic children. They were equally distributed into two groups: a control group and an experimental one. Tools of the current study included Godard's Intelligence Test, a list of autism disorders symptoms assessment and the scale of social communication skills among autistic children (prepared by the researcher) and a training Programme (prepared by the researcher). Results of the study indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of the control group in the post measurement of social communication scale in favour of the experimental group. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the experimental group on the social communication scale in favour of the post measurement. However, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the post and sequential(after 3 months)measurements of the experimental group on the social communication scale.
