Intense technology usage in education has been increasing in every field recently, becausecomputer based visual technology has been improving and becoming the most communaltrend in the recent years. In addition to these decreasing prices of the computer-basedsystems make this trend more attractive and usable. Indeed the Architectural education is oneof the most difficult and expensive kind of education which based-on visual material, that’swhy computers and complicated software usage in architectural education has increaseddramatically. Nowadays, there is no there is no doubt it is not possible for an architecturalcompany or educational organization to compete, in the globalization era, without taking theadvantage of computer software. As a result of debating on the use of CAAD in architecturalschools, this paper aims to examine the objectives of existing literature together with theresponse and observation of students give a remedial on the use of CAAD if it should beencouraged or discontinued ,furthermore, study quantitatively explores students’ preferencesand attitudes toward the use of CAAD (Computer - Aided Architectural Design) tools, thenassesses the potential impact of these digital tools on the quality and creativity of architecturaldesign final product, trying to investigating in what motivates the student to use CAADsoftware in the design process? What is the importance of the role of CAAD in anarchitectural curriculum? And the impacts do CAAD tools have on the overall quality ofarchitectural design in all of its stages (conceptual, design development, presentation). فى الآونة الأخیرة لا شک أن ھناک تزاید لاستخدام أدوات التعلیم الرقمیة التی تعتمد على الکمبیوتر فی التعلیم عموما وفىالتعلیم المعماری على وجھ الخصوص لأن التکنولوجیا المرئیة المستندة إلى الکمبیوتر قد تحسنت من ناحیة النوعیةوسھولة الاستخدام وأصبحت الاتجاه الأکثر شیوعا فی السنوات الأخیرة. بالإضافة إلى انخفاض أسعار تلک البرامجوالأجھزة وأیضا الأنظمة المعتمدة على الکمبیوتر ، مما جعل ھذا الاتجاه مفضل لدی کلا من أقسام العمارة والطلاب.والتعلیم المعماری ھو واحد من أصعب وأغلى أنواع التعلیم ویستند على مواد بصریة. لھذا السبب ازداد استخدام أجھزةالکمبیوتر والبرامج المعقدة فی التعلیم المعماری بشکل کبیرو من غیر الممکن للشرکات التی تتنافس فى مجال التطویرالعمرانی أومفسسة تعلیمیة أن تحقق مستوی الجودة المطلوب والطلب المتنامی على تطویر العمران دون الاستفادة منبرامج الکمبیوتر.من أشھر تلک البرامج ھو برامج الکاد و الھدف الرئیس من ھذه الورقة البحثیة ھو دراسة مدیتفصیلات الطلاب ومواقفھم تجاه استخدام أدوات الکاد ، ومن ثم تقییم التأثیر المحتمل لھذه الأدوات الرقمیة على جودةوابتکار المنتج النھائی للتصمیم المعماری ، وتم عمل إستبیان بین طلاب أقسام العمارة فى السنة الثالثة والرابعة منجامعات مصریة مختلفة، فی محاولة لاستکشاف ما یحفز الطالب على استخدام برنامج الکاد فی عملیة التصمیم؟ ما ھیأھمیة دور الکاد فی مناھج التعلیم المعماری؟ وما تأثیر أدوات الکاد على الجودة الشاملة للتصمیم المعماری فی جمیع مراحلھا (المفاھیمیة ، تطویر التصمیم ، تقدیم الفکرة النھائیة). الھدف العام من الدراسة ھو دراسة تأثیر أداة تصمیم الکادعلى تعلیم التصمیم المعماری عموما ، مع التأکید على فکرة ، أنھ فى عصر النمو التکنولوجی السریع والمنافسة الشرسة ،ھناک حاجة للمھندسین المعماریین فی العالم النامی لمواکبة أحدث التطورات فی التکنولوجیا والحوسبة المستخدمة فیتصمیم البیئة المبنیة ، وبالتالی نحن بحاجة لتقییم وتقویم ھذا الاتجاه.

CAAD AND ITS INFLUENCES ON ARCHITECTURAL STUDENTS (CREATIVITY IN GLOBALIZATION ERA)
