Benefical Situation and The Problems of Vegetable Producers From Agricultural Extension: Diyarbakir Example

Education of agricultural extension has accelerated functions such as amount of total production, the diversification of production patterns and to raise the income producers in agrıcultural production. Agricultural extension topics and areas of interest is dynamic and diverse. This study is aimed to obtain the beneficial situation and the problems of vegetable producers in agricultural education and extension in Diyarbakir city. In this study, 39.1% of the producers did not related with agricultural ministry. The 11.9% producers in 60.0% those are related with agricultural ministry went to this institute to get information. And also this was obtained; while the high percentage of producers getting information from agrıculture ministry, they want to get information firstly from agriculture faculty (38.8%) and secondly from agricultural ministry (36.2).
