The methods forming an economic model of the deposit have been comparatively analyzed on the case study of the Oleniy Ruchey deposit. The method of mining appreciation with deepening and the iterative method have been compared. The mathematic boundaries for the open mining have been determined using economical blocked models in the MineFrame software. The results received have approved the efficiency of the iterative method.
