: This technical note describes a case study in which wetland plants and biocngineering treatments were used to protect an archeological site on an eroded reservoir shoreline and to stabilize the shoreline from further erosion. The site is called the Robinson Site and is located on Rice Reservoir in northern Wisconsin, about 26 km (16 miles) southeast of Rhinelander.
