金属イオンの溶液内における動的挙動に基づいて金属イオンの反応性を総覧することを試みた.金属イオンの反応性について総説するために,まず最も基本的な水溶液中における金属イオンの水和構造と水交換反応速度を,更に各種配位性溶媒中における溶媒和構造と溶媒交換反応について概観した.次に分析化学反応として最も関心のある錯形成反応の速度に基づいて金属イオンのキャラクタリゼーションを試みた.最後に,金属イオンの反応性に関連する速度論的分析法の実例を,又反応中間体の動態分析に関して二,三の具体例を示した.
