Osteoporosis is a highly prevalent multifactorial osteometabolic disease, classically diagnosed, in vivo , by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). This study evaluated osteoporosis, ex vivo , using vibro-acoustography (VA), an elastographic technique based on ultrasound radiation force.
