Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an umbrella term for a number of diseases including emphysema, bronchitis and asthma and so on. The severity of the disease can be identified by finding the peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) level. This level can be decomposed into trend components to analyse the deterioration in condition of patients affected by COPD. The condition can be analysed on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
