Os sítios arqueológicos dos municípios de Serranópolis e Palestina de Goiás, no sudoeste do Estado de Goiás, estão sendo impactados por processos naturais e pela ação antrópica. O diagnóstico preliminar dos sítios GO-JA-13 e GO-CP-16 apresenta como causa principal a associação entre processos erosivos, desmatamento e pecuária. As medidas mitigadoras sugeridas incluem o isolamento das áreas de contribuição e a estabilização dos processos erosivos, por meio da captação das águas de escoamento superficial e subsuperficial e da contenção da ação erosiva de cursos d’água, na base dos taludes e nas ravinas, além de monitoramentos sistemáticos. EROSIVE EFFECTS IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES IN GOIÁS STATE: The Serranópolis and Palestina de Goiás CaseABSTRACTThe archaeological sites in Serranópolis and Palestina de Goiás counties, in the Southwest of the State of Goiás have been impacted by natural processes and anthropic action. The preliminary diagnosis of the GO-JA-13 and GO-CP-16 archaeological sites presents erosive processes, deforestation and cattle raising as the main causes. Corrective measures suggest isolating the contribution areas and stabilizing the erosive processes by means of superficial and sub-superficial water drainage and the containment of erosive action caused by water at the base of the slope and the ravine, as well as systematic monitoring.Keywords: Anthropic action; Archaeological diagnosis; Archaeological site protection.
