This study aimed to identify the effect of using flipped learning strategy in the development of critical listening skills of Jordanian tenth grade students and their attitudes toward it. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher built two research tools: an achievement test of critical listening skills and flipped learning strategy attitude measurement. The sample consisted of 85 female students of tenth grade, selected purposively from one school, and were distributed into two groups: The experimental group and control group. The experimental group (42 students) was taught by using Flipped learning strategy, while the control group (43 students) was taught by the traditional method. The researcher used appropriate statistical methods. Results of the study revealed significant differences at (α=0.05) in favor of those taught using flipped learning. Results also showed improvement in students’ attitudes towards flipped learning strategy.
