Rehabilitation measures were carried out for children with secondary defects of the upper lip and the palate aft er repeated surgical treatment. Obturator prostheses were made using Titanide dental casting alloy. Adaptation to obturator prostheses lasted in average 10-30 days, aft er which satisfactory functional state of dentoalveolar apparatus was observed, the patients used prostheses constantly. Intelligibility and level of speech disturbance depended on topography of the defect, nasal anastomosis size, ranged from 31.68% to 60.74%.
